A Licensed Industrial Accident Investigator and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor with nearly 40 years of international experience in occupational health and safety. As founder and principal consultant of The Safety and Training Academy (TSATA), a London-based family safety consultancy, Wayne provides safety advisory services globally to organisations ranging from multinational corporations to SMEs. Throughout his career, Wayne has conducted over 500 industrial accident investigations, including more than 200 fatal incidents across high-hazard industries such as power generation, oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing. His expertise spans multiple continents and industrial sectors, with particular specialisation in Root Cause Analysis methodologies, human factors investigation, and systems-based safety approaches. Wayne is the author of books on Industrial Accident Investigation and Behavioural Psychology for Safety Professionals. His work consistently emphasises bridging the gap between safety theory and practical implementation, advocating for genuine safety culture that prioritises preventing human suffering over mere regulatory compliance. Drawing from decades of hands-on experience before pursuing formal qualifications, Wayne challenges conventional approaches that favour credentials over actual harm prevention.
